Equality and welfare in the local community

The Socialist Party of Iceland invites to an open membership meeting on Wednesday evening, January 31st, about the socialists' agenda in municipal affairs. What opportunities do municipal councils have to work towards equality, strengthen welfare, and safeguard social justice?

Arnþór Sigurðsson, Þorleifur Gunnlaugsson, and Margrét Pétursdóttir, who all have experience in municipal affairs, will give short presentations, after which an open discussion will be held.

Sólveig Anna Jónsdóttir is the meeting chair.
