Yes, the coffee is always on every Sunday at Hverfisgata 105 Reykjavík. It's a good idea for coffee drinkers and others to come and chat about current affairs, taste the biscuits, and work to improve our society with constructive conversations.
Location: Hverfisgata 105. Reykjavík. (On the corner of Hverfisgata and Snorrabraut)
Time: every Sunday from 10:00 to 12:00
Topics: what is most prominent in society, the latest developments in politics, and other interesting things
for example:
Food prices, housing issues, the tax environment, environmental issues, capitalism, socialism, municipal and local government issues, peace movements, conflicts in the world, NATO, EU, AL, education and school issues, and everything else that coffee drinkers want to discuss.
We practice conversations, presentation and talking to people about politics and the party's policy. Every other Sunday at 1 PM!

For the next four Sundays, the Socialist Party of Iceland (Sósíalistaflokkur Íslands) invites you to enjoyable gatherings at the party's headquarters — a Sunday that combines socialist whist and board games in the spirit of solidarity, playfulness, and cooperation.
🃏 First part of the day: Socialist Whist
We start with a card game where we compete for seats in a friendly way.
At each Sunday card game, prizes will be awarded for the top two, bottom two, and a special seating prize.
After four Sundays, overall prizes will also be awarded to those with the highest scores overall.
🎲 Second part: Board Game Gathering
After the card game, a light board game gathering will be offered.
Various board games will be available, and anyone who wants to play a specific game that they own is welcome to bring it with them.
💸 Admission: Free — but contributions to the paper fund are greatly appreciated.

Fundraising dinner for the municipal elections
Come and dine with us. Several courses will be offered, including desserts. We ask everyone to contribute according to their ability to pay. The house opens at 18:00 and dinner will be at 18:30.
Come and enjoy good food, good company and help the party finance the election campaign.
The Socialist Party of Iceland (Sósíalistaflokkur Íslands) will hold an event on May 1st at the party headquarters at Hverfisgata 105, 101 Reykjavík. More information will be announced closer to the date, but mark it on your calendar and be ready to spend time with your comrades (félagar).
A members' meeting (félagsfundur) of The Socialist Party of Iceland (Sósíalistaflokks Íslands) is called for March 29 at Hverfisgata 105.

As usual, it is possible to participate via Zoom, which will also open at 12:30 to allow time to confirm registration in the membership register. Members have the opportunity to ask questions and have discussions.

Open meeting of The Socialist Party (Sósíalistaflokksins) on grassroots democracy. You are welcome to Sunday coffee from 10 am and a short presentation on grassroots democracy at 12:30 pm.
We will hear about the experience of humanists with district councils from the 1990s and learn about what defines real grassroots democracy and how we can work to increase it.

Isn't it time to examine the tax system? For example, we want to tax capital income like other income. Is the tax burden on the general public increasing? What about everything else?
Dr. Stefán Ólafsson, who conducts research at Efling and is a former university professor of sociology, will come and give a presentation.
