Elected to three boards of the Socialist Party

At the Socialist Congress, three party boards were elected.

To the Executive Board were elected: Birna Eik Benediksdóttir, Gunnar Smári Egilsson, Guðmundur Auðunsson, Haraldur Ingi Haraldsson, Katrín Baldursdóttir, Laufey Ólafsdóttir, Sanna Magdalena Mörtudóttir, Sigrún E. Unnsteinsdóttir, Védís Guðjónsdóttir and Viggó Jóhannsson. And as alternates: Guttormur Þorsteinsson, Luciano Dutra, Sæþór Benjamín Randalsson and Sara Stef. Hildardóttir.

To the Policy Board were elected: Atli Antonsson, Ása Lind Finnbogadóttir, Ástþór Jón Ragnheiðarson, Fjölnir Baldursson, Geirdís Hanna Ellý and Kristjánsdóttir, María Pétursdóttir, Símon Vestarr, Sylviane Lecoult Pétursdóttir and Þórdís Guðjónsdóttir. And as alternates: Ágúst Valves Jóhannesson, Elsa B Harðardóttir, Hallfríður Þórarinsdóttirog Loubna Anbari.

To the Membership Board were elected: Ari Sigurjónsson, Arngrímur Jónsson, Benedikt Ægisson, Brynja Siguróladóttir, Fjóla Heiðdal, Hildur Embla Ragnheiðardóttir, Jón Örn Pálsson, Kristinn Hannesson, Ólafur Ragnarsson, Rúnar Freyr Júlíusson, Sigurður Erlends Guðbjargarson, Úlfur Atlason and Þorbergur Torfason.

The boards will divide tasks among themselves.

The Oversight Board of the party's Ministries, the so-called Government Council, and the Campaign Board, which oversees the work of the Campaign Groups, will be chosen from within the Ministries and the Campaign Groups, and board members will be introduced at a follow-up meeting of the Socialist Congress in the autumn.
