March 12, 2019The limit has been reached: Sigríður Andersen out!
We demand the resignation of Sigríður Andersen, Minister of Justice, following the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights which ruled that Sigríður's appointment of judges to Landsréttur was illegal. A Minister of Justice who undermines the judicial system must step down.
Meet at Austurvöllur at 4:30 PM outside the Parliament House with bananas, a symbol of what is called a banana republic where the interests of the upper class are always prioritized over the interests of the public and human rights. Do not throw the banana afterwards, eat it.
