Conversation about judicial affairs 1

Last weekend, the Policy Board (Málefnastjórn) of the Socialist Party of Iceland invited 3 individuals to discuss their views and experiences of Icelandic judicial affairs.

This was done because a group of randomly selected socialists is now beginning work on drafting the party's policy on judicial affairs.

First to speak was lawyer Ragnar Aðalsteinsson, who is often called "the father of human rights in Iceland"

Here he speaks primarily about the access of the less fortunate to the judicial system and about legal aid.
