Six groups within the Socialist Party with regular meetings

Since mid-winter, meetings have been held in six socialist activist groups on Wednesday evenings at Hlutverkasetrið Borgartúni 1, 2nd floor, and since the coronavirus pandemic also on zoom.

Socialist Feministsmeet every other week, next on July 1st. The goal is to strengthen feminism within the socialist struggle and strengthen socialism within the feminist struggle.

The Class Struggle – socialist workers' councilwill also meet next on July 1st. The group's goal is to promote the rebuilding of the labor movement, build up the labor struggle with increased activity and participation of general members, and lead discussions about the future of the labor struggle within the Socialist Party, the labor movement, and society as a whole.

Young Socialistswill likewise hold their next meeting on July 1st. The goal is to build a movement of young socialists who will have a significant formative influence on the Socialist Party of Iceland and society as a whole. All socialists thirty years and younger can participate in the work of Young Socialists.

The Master League, a group of socialists 55 years and older, meets every other Wednesday evening, next on June 24th. The goal is to strengthen the advocacy for both retirees and people in the latter part of their careers. The Master League operates within the Socialist Party of Iceland, but the group's meetings are open to all who wish to support the struggle.

Socialist Disability Councilwill meet next on June 24th. The council's goal is to strengthen the advocacy for disabled people, protect their interests within the Socialist Party, and enrich the justice struggle of disabled people in society.

Socialist Immigrant Councilwill also meet next on June 24th and then every other Wednesday thereafter. The council's goal is to strengthen the advocacy for immigrants, review the policies and actions of the Socialist Party from the perspective of immigrants, protect their interests within the party, and enrich the justice struggle of immigrants in society.

Choose the groups you would most like to work within. Remember, you are the revolution, you can change society by participating in organized work, advocacy, and the struggle for justice.
