The Socialist Party supports the struggle of queer people for full human rights

´The policy of the Socialist Party states that systematic work should be done towards full human rights for queer people and against all kinds of persecution, hate speech, and domestic violence, violence against people of a certain gender, origin, disabled people, and queer people.It further states inthe policy:„The rights of queer people that have been gained shall be protected and work shall be done towards full equality for them in accordance with the ILGA Europe Rainbow Map, which is a European umbrella organization for queer people. Genders shall not automatically be considered only two, but people can be registered as non-binary or intersex. Furthermore, gay men may donate blood like others, and gay parents shall be treated equally when it comes to the registration and custody of their children as other parents. The sexual autonomy of intersex individuals shall also be affirmed, and a ban shall be placed on subjecting children to unnecessary surgical procedures on external or internal genitals.“The Socialist Party supports the struggle of queer people and celebrates the victories won on Pride days. The struggle, however, is not over until all people live with equal rights and respect.
