Socialists raise money for election fund

The Socialist Party has sent out a voluntary payment request to all its members, asking for a contribution of ISK 5,000 tothe Socialist Party's election fund. The contribution is optional; requests from those who do not wish or are unable to contribute to the election fund will disappear by the end of summer without any repercussions.

As the Socialist Party is a young party, it will need to wage a long election campaign to introduce its priorities, policies, goals, and candidates as election day approaches. We therefore need a small fund to advertise, rent meeting facilities, cover event costs, and other incidental expenses. The election fund will not pay anyone a salary, only cover out-of-pocket expenses. Your contribution matters greatly.
